The end of the summer!

I can’t believe how quickly the summer has flown by! I spent this past week finalizing my implementation plan and meeting with each member of the team to handover the various projects that they’ll now take forward into the next stages. I’m excited to see the different social and emotional support initiatives come to life over the coming months!

I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with this amazing team, on an issue I care deeply about, at a time when reproductive rights are under increasing threat in our country. I was lucky enough to be able to speak with many patients over the course of the summer, and their reflections and gratitude reinforced how important this service is. I’m so proud of the work the team is doing to increase access to this critical health service, and of their commitment to always putting the patient first. I hope to continue supporting Hey Jane, and the reproductive health and rights movement in the United States and globally, long after my internship ends.
